2008 is the Year of the Rat. Which animal year were you born in?
I was born in the year of the Boar. That's BOAR not BORE. Like PIG.
Not sure that's any better...
Have you ever been on either end of an unrequited love?

Please! I was a teenage girl, for heaven's sake, I think that's just part of the experience.
Do you think real love can last throughout any distance, or will long distance end most relationships?

Hasn't ended ours yet...but it's only a measly 4,000 miles.
What treats do the kids in your family leave out for Santa? What treats did you leave for him as a child?
I don't remember exactly but I'm pretty sure it was cookies and milk. Had it been up to me, Santa probably would have gotten cheese doodles and soda, but thankfully it was up to my mom.
What fragrance/cologne do you put on when it's your night out?

Pretty much nothing but the lavendar soap and lotion I use. Perfume gets all in your hair and clothes and is just gross, really.
What was your major or field of study in college? Did you wind up working in that field or using that degree? If not, what field have you wound up in?
Submitted by sneuf.
I graduated with a major in Sign Language Interpreting and a minor (just three credits shy of a double major) in Theatre. I am currently the Interpreter Coordinator for the South Carolina Department of Mental Health and I act like I know what I'm doing, so I suppose I use both parts of my degree.
Which are your favorite sites for shopping online?
Amazon.com and, oddly enough, Target.com are my two favorites. I say "oddly enough" for Target because I could just run down the street to one...but I don't come out of Target.com $50 lighter like I do the brick and mortar.
Audio: What's your favorite carol or holiday song?
Ringtones: What's yours and how often do you change it?
Submitted by enrico.
Depends on who is ringing me. Mom and Daddy? "Glory to Old Georgia," the University of Georgia Fight Song. My sister, Susan? The theme from "The Office" (American series). Susan's husband Dave? The University of Alabama Fight Song. Simon? Used to be "My First, My Last, My Everything" by Barry White, but for the holidays it is "All I Want for Christmas Is You," sadly by Mariah Carey.
Everyone else, including the person that rang me during that interpreting assignment, is "Rehab" by Amy Winehouse.
